Alcohol Breath Tester
Drinking and riding or driving is a serious matter, ideally nobody should drink and then take control of a vehicle, but in reality many of us do. This little device will help you make an informed decision whether or not to ride a bike (or drive a car) after you’ve had an alcoholic drink.
The current UK guidelines state a threshold of 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood, often referred to as a BAC (Blood-Alcohol concentration), in this case 0.08%
GREEN = sample below 0.05% BAC > OK to ride
YELLOW = sample over 0.05% BAC > Borderline case, recommendation not to ride
YELLOW & RED = sample over 0.08% BAC > Do NOT ride
Encased in a small unit key-fob, there is no reason to be without , it may save your license.
